About the City Clerk’s Office

The main responsibilities of the City Clerk is to efficiently hold City Elections, Record the Minutes of the Council Meetings, Issue Business Licenses, submit all claims, requisitions and demands against the city. The City Clerk shall have the custody of the rules, ordinances and resolutions of the City of Tuscumbia and shall keep a record of them when adopted. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The City of Tuscumbia Privilege Licenses are due on January 1 of each year and are considered delinquent if not paid by February 1, of each year. If January 31st falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the license may be paid on the next working day or postmarked the next working day to avoid a penalty.
