City Council

The City of Tuscumbia operates under a Mayor–Council form of government. The Mayor and City Council work together to adopt budgets, pass ordinances, and set policies that guide city operations and community growth.
Regular Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall, following a work session at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Those wishing to address the Council should contact the City Clerk in advance to be placed on the work session agenda by noon the Thursday prior to the scheduled meeting.

The Council also collaborates with local boards and commissions to support planning, preservation, and downtown development while serving the needs of the Tuscumbia community.
